Lumi Hilchey started her career in the Meetings & Incentives industry in 2008 when she joined a small destination representation agency in New York City. She has been enjoying promoting several international destinations such as Dubai, Melbourne, France, UK, etc, ever since. Today Lumi proudly represents the German Convention Bureau in New York City where she connects German suppliers to the North American marketplace. Lumi holds a Master’s Degree from Boston University and is sometimes involved with the academic world as guest speaker or mentor for students preparing for the MICE world. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, reading and running.
