Speaker Bio: Courtney Klein

Courtney Klein serves as a Security Consultant in the Security Consulting Services division. Prior to joining T&M, Ms. Klein was a founding member on a number of corporate security teams across a variety of operational fields. As an independent consultant through the Research Foundation of CUNY, she gained extensive experience performing physical threat and risk assessments for educational institutions and houses of worship across the New York metropolitan area. She later went on to provide a variety of security services ranging from due diligence research to crisis management training and from security assessments to program and policy development for several high profile clients across the country, including those in the entertainment and digital arts industries; real estate; litigation; finance; healthcare; non-profit, NGO, and social welfare groups; political action committees; and state and local governments. Ms. Klein also possesses extensive experience in domestic terrorism counter-intelligence and has presented as a subject matter expert on several topics at a variety of industry events.

Ms. Klein received her Master’s Degree in Criminology and Deviance as well as an Advanced Studies Certificate in Crime Analysis from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and her Bachelor’s Degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Colorado State University. She is an ASIS-certified Physical Security Professional (PSP) and maintains a Crime Analyst Level I designation through the State of New York Division of Criminal Justice Services. She is also a Certified Institutional Protection Specialist (CIPS) and Certified Institutional Protection Manager (CIPM) by the International Foundation for Cultural Property Protection.
