Wayne Robinson joined FM Global 5 years ago as Assistant Vice President of Programs and Exhibits where he leads a team of 12 planners and multimedia professionals. His team is responsible for over 130 company meetings and events annually as well as multimedia. His primary focus is creating the strategy and execution of face to face meetings and communications for clients, brokers, and internal field facing audiences. Prior to joining FM Global Wayne served as Director of Field Meetings at Northwestern Mutual after spending 14 years at Guardian Life Insurance Company in New York City where he headed up the Conference and Events Department.

Wayne works extensively with marketing, public relations, procurement, law, and the sales departments on client and internal programs. His department is also responsible for graphics, videos, content, tradeshows, Research Campus tours, and presentations for meetings. Wayne started his career in event management at AT&T where he started as a planner and eventually served as Executive Meeting Manager and planned shareholder, board of director, and sales incentives meetings.

Wayne studied Economics and Management Science at Kean University in New Jersey. He achieved his CMP certification in 1996 and his CMM in 2016. He served on the Ritz Carlton Insurance Advisory Board, and the MPI Executive Advisory Board. He is immediate past chair of Financial Insurance Conference Professionals Association where he remains active. Wayne has over 30 + years of experience in the event industry.
